Hubei Kelison Kazakhstan Industrial Park
The Kelison Industrial Park project in Hubei Province, Kazakhstan, is located in nurkenit Special Economic Zone, Panfilov County, the east gate of Almaty, Kazakhstan, covering an area of 10 square kilometers, 300 kilometers from Almaty City, adjacent to the port of Horgos in Xinjiang of China, only three kilometers from the port of Horgos in China. Lianyungang Rotterdam railway of Eurasian land bridge passes through the industrial park. China's first station in Central Asia, with superior geographical location and ideal construction conditions, is the first large-scale industrial park project established in Central Asian countries.
The project is jointly invested and constructed by Kelison (Kazakhstan) Co., Ltd., tea company Co., Ltd. and sakhman Co., Ltd. (Kazakhstan), with a total investment of 205 million US dollars. On March 16, 2016, a memorandum of cooperation on project investment was signed in Almaty. On February 17, 2017, the government of Kazakhstan's East Gate special economic zone approved 1000 hectares of project land. On May 3, 2017, the project obtained the land use certificate of 1000 hectares. On June 8, 2017, at the summit of the heads of state of China and Kazakhstan in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, the project was officially signed and became a key project of production capacity cooperation between China and Kazakhstan. On February 11, 2018, according to the results of the 14th meeting of the Ministry of investment and development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the national development and Reform Commission of the people's Republic of China, the project was officially included in the list of industrial and investment cooperation projects between China and Kazakhstan. On April 13, 2018, a.u.mamin, the first deputy prime minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held talks with Kelison company on the progress of the project in Beijing. On September 18, 2018, the project officially started construction.
